The Solar Box, bringing together the entire world of Calabrian bergamot in four products.
Bergamot is the treasure of our region. This small green citrus fruit grows almost nowhere else but in Calabria, on a narrow strip of land nestled between the mountains and the Ionian Sea, where the sun never truly leaves the orchards. At Lucangeli, it is the common thread of our establishment, connecting our family history to your table. With this box, we wanted to bring together four ways to discover it, from the liveliest to the most gourmet.
What the box contains
- Organic pure bergamot juice 200 ml
- Olive oil with bergamot 200 ml, Épicures d'Argent 2023
- Bergamot spread 40%, 130 g, Épicures d'Or 2024
- Almond spread 40%, 130 g
The pure organic bergamot juice 200 ml
Cold-pressed from Citrus Bergamia cultivated in Calabria, our juice is 100% pure, with no added sugar or preservatives. Its taste is frank, tangy, slightly bitter, true to the fruit. A few spoonfuls are enough: dilute it in fresh water, add it to an infusion, a cocktail, a marinade or a vinaigrette to enhance any dish. It is also a daily ally, rich in vitamin C and known for its polyphenols.
The olive oil with bergamot 200 ml
This is the signature of our house. Bergamots are freshly picked and then pressed at the mill with our olives, never flavored afterwards. This method produces a lively, fragrant oil, immediately recognizable, awarded the silver medal at the Épicures 2023. On raw fish, carpaccio, burrata, a citrus salad or drizzled over roasted vegetables, it brings a freshness that nothing else can replace.
The two 40% spreads
Our bergamot spread, gold medalist at the Épicures 2024, is made in Calabria. Sweet and creamy, it is carried by the fragrance of the citrus fruit and always surprises with the first spoonful. Alongside it, the 40% almond spread is made from organic Sicilian almonds, renowned for their round taste and nutritional richness. Both can be enjoyed on toast, in plain yogurt, on a crepe, as a cake filling, or simply with a spoon.

Origin and storage
All products in this box are made in Italy, respecting our family's artisanal methods. Store them away from light and heat. Once opened, bergamot juice should be kept in the refrigerator. Spreads can be stored at room temperature in a dry place.
