🎄 Lucangeli Christmas Olive Oil Cookies 🎄

At Lucangeli , Christmas is a story of sharing, warmth and delicious food.
These olive oil and spice biscuits evoke Italian traditions while bringing a Mediterranean touch that enhances the flavors of winter.


📝 Ingredients (for about twenty cookies):

  • 250 g of flour

  • 100g of cane sugar

  • 80 ml of Lucangeli ripe fruity olive oil

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons of honey

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ginger

  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp yeast

  • A pinch of salt

  • (Optional: a few orange zest strips or a little Lucangeli spread to fill them 😋)


🍳 Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast and spices.

  2. Add the Lucangeli olive oil, honey and egg. Mix until you obtain a smooth dough.

  3. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  4. Roll out the dough (about 5 mm) and cut out Christmas shapes (stars, hearts, Christmas trees…).

  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 170°C until lightly golden.

  6. Let it cool, then enjoy with a glass of mulled wine or Italian coffee ☕️


💡 Lucangeli Tip:

Add a touch of pistachio or hazelnut spread between two biscuits for a more indulgent and festive version.
